Mother's Day Tried and True Recipes

Mother's Day is this Sunday and expressing our love and reverence for our mother's has been officially a national holiday for 100 years! In 1914 Woodrow Wilson signed the proclamation creating Mother’s Day, the second Sunday in May, as a national holiday to honor mothers. You can view and read the full proclamation on the National Archives website.

We thought it would be fun to ask a few team members here at Goodwill to share tried and true recipes from their mother's recipe collections.

Side note: It's funny how many said that their mother's did not follow recipes, but just "cooked" from memory and from the heart!
